Burns Beach

On Monday we (myself, kids and my mum) drove to Mindarie Quays for a look around-there is nothing to see! So we decided to drive to Burns Beach. After having a milkshake and icecream we decided to go down to the beach to collect shells and build a sandcastle. It wasn't too long before we were all wet and the kids were running through the (tiny) surf. Lucky I had spare clothes, towels etc. At least they had a great time and fell asleep within 5 mins of being back in the car. Peace!

New Car

Well I picked up my new car yesterday- Santa Fe. It drives like a dream. Still getting used to the automatic though as I have driven a manual for the last 15 years. I'll post a picture later when Just J (Jen) shows me how! I have my first (I am sure it will be one of many) parent/teacher nights tonight as my oldest just started Kindy. She has already been told off for speaking during quiet time during her first full day. She's not like her mum at all??

Well I've finally done it

Well, hello. I have finally, under great duress, created a blog of my very own. Yes, you know who you are- are you two finally happy now? And I really don't have anything interesting to blog at the moment. Saturday morning I had a sleep in and got up at 8am (I didn't get to bed until 3am, though). Then had to rush around to ballet classes, acrobate classes, toy library and grocery shopping. Just my usual Saturday morning, except James didn't have Kindygym, so some respite from the rush. I caught up with my family on Saturday night when the 'tribe' came over for dinner. We telephoned my Nan in England as she has been unwell. I telephoned her on Tuesday and she got me to hold on while she chatted to the salesman that was at the door. (No rush- only calling internationally nan. You chat about the weather, etc!). Today was clean up day, wash car and clean out garage for the NEW CAR which arrives on Tuesday.
